As a family-owned business, the first generation has managed over the years to become an integral part of the Congolese community and entrepreneurial force that led to growth in several business sectors.
The legacy of the Group goes back to the 1970s when the name Sokin was established as a household name for commodities trading and importation.
Since then Achour Group has expanded into themanufacturing, real estate, and supply chain sectors.
Today Achour Group is led by its third generation and has successfully managed to cut through the complexity and downturns of local and global economies and emerge as one of the stable and credible businesses which have the respect and admiration of all the players in the Congolese market.

I am deeply honored to serve as Chairman of Achour Group at this important moment in our history.
Assuming this responsibility reflects not only a personal milestone, but the continuation of a legacy built through decades of discipline, resilience, and entrepreneurial vision. The standards set by my grandparents, and carried forward by my father and uncles, have shaped both my professional journey and my sense of duty toward the Group.
The Achour name stands for integrity, credibility, and an enduring commitment to growth. These principles guide our decisions, define our partnerships, and anchor our long-term strategy across every sector in which we operate.
My career within the Group began on the front lines, in sales at Sokin, before expanding into operational leadership within our supply chain activities and the oversight of major construction projects. This progression has provided me with a comprehensive understanding of our businesses, as well as the broader micro- and macro-economic dynamics that influence our investments.
As we look to the future, my vision is clear: to consolidate our foundations while driving sustainable growth and innovation. I remain committed to strengthening our legacy for future generations, while continuing to create value for our partners and contributing meaningfully to the development of the Congolese economy.
